I HAVE WORKED WITH OVER
HUNDREDS OF
ATHLETES
I’ve had the pleasure to work with Pierce for the duration of my 3rd season in Trail for the Smoke Eaters (BCHL). His professionalism on and off the ice and attention to small details prove his level of coaching to be elite. He can make adjustments around his goalies providing flexibility whether that be hopping on the ice 15 minutes before practice to work on tracking and skating, or by providing me with options to what I want to work on for our one on one goalie skates. This insures that I am feeling at the top of my game and confident. Away from the rink he offers zoom meetings to break down video clips from previous games covering both positive and constructive points which he would then work with me to improve upon. As a young goalie coach I felt his modern teaching style was beneficial as I was able to apply different techniques that fit my play style. Overall I experienced a lot of growth and enjoyed working with Pierce tremendously. Teagan Kendrick,Teagan Kendrick

I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate having Pierce as my goalie coach. His dedication, knowledge, and positive attitude have made a huge impact on my development over the past few years. I always look forward to practices with Pierce as he always makes ice times fun while driving me to be my best. Pierce takes coaching to a different level, my goals become his, and every win feels like a shared victory. I am incredibly lucky and honoured to have such a fantastic and supportive coach in my career. - Teagan Janzen (OHA U18 Female Prep)

I’ve been working with Pierce Diamond for the past 3 or 4 years and every ice I have with him I not only learn ways I can improve my game but I also have a good time. Pierce is a great mentor and I am lucky to say that he is a part of my life. I owe Pierce everything, he’s made me the goalie I am to day and without him I wouldn’t even be close to where I am today. All my success is because of Pierce and any goalie who is serious about getting better would be lucky to have Pierce as their goalie coach. - Jasper Wood (Okanagan Rockets) U17 BCEHL Champion & Player of the Year 2025

My name is Jaiden Jakubowski and I play for the Osoyoos Coyotes. I met Pierce 2 years ago and started working with him that summer. The attention to detail Pierce provides and his in-depth read off every rep make it easy to make adjustments and see the results quickly. Pierce can work with any goalie of any age and provides a look into more than just the on ice aspects of goaltending. He has helped me with the mental side of the game when things get hard and he is a huge reason why I am where I am today. Anybody that has worked with Pierce knows he is more than just a coach, but a personal friend. I highly recommend working with Pierce if you are wanting to take your game to the next level. - Jaiden Jackubowski (Osoyoos Coyotes KIJHL)

Pierce is an incredible goalie coach, and I feel truly lucky to have him at OHA. He connects with goalies on a personal level, and it’s always easy to stop and have a quick chat or about the details of the position. His knowledge and experience have pushed me to be a better goalie, and every time he’s on the ice, I’m excited to get out there and learn something new. What makes Pierce stand out is how much he cares. You can see it in the way he coaches, talks to us, and shows up every day ready to help. Whether he’s telling me to keep my hands out in front or sharing what it was like playing against Cale Makar, he brings a level of energy and passion that makes every session better. Working with Pierce isn’t just helpful—it’s something I always look forward to. By having Pierce as a coach, it gives me the opportunity to learn from a role model, and someone who puts their best foot forward to push me to success. Any goalie, and all goalies, would be honoured to have the chance to be coached and mentored by Pierce. – Charlie Peppinck (OHA U18 Prep)

I started working with Pierce this season and already have seen major improvements to my game. He asks me what I specifically want to work on and can make drills on the spot which tailor to what I feel I need to improve on. Pierce will make you work hard but still has fun ice times because of his fun personality. He has deep knowledge towards goaltending and explains what he feels I should work on in a way which doesn’t over complicate it and is understandable. I would highly suggest Pierce to any goalie who looks to improve. – Linden Sobocan (OHA U18 Prep / Kelowna Rockets) / U17 Prep 2025 CSSHL Goalie of the Year

“This past year, I had the privilege of working with Pierce Diamond from Diamond Cut Goaltending. Every session with Pierce is something I genuinely look forward to, each skate is not only a lot of fun, but there’s always something valuable to take away. After every session, I can feel my game improving, and I’m excited to continue working with Pierce to keep pushing my development. If you’re looking to take your game to the next level, I highly recommend training with Pierce.” -Chayse Johnson (OHA U18 Prep / Trail Smoke Eaters BCHL)

“Pierce does a great job at focusing on the little details with his goalies. He has the ability to run creative drills which include something that the goalie wants to work on. Pierce pushes us hard to ensure that I improve while still providing a fun and positive environment. He is always expanding and sharing his knowledge to help all goalies on their way to the next level” - Reed Russel (Okanagan Rockets) BCEHL U17 2025 Champion

My name is Luke Lush and I am currently playing NCAA Division 1 hockey with the Rochester Institute of Technology. I grew up playing against Pierce, and from a young age, it was evident that he had a knack for what it takes to be an elite-level goaltender. As we both moved up the hockey ranks, I was fortunate to get to know him better as we began training on the ice together. In recent years, as we have both begun our coaching endeavors, it has been an absolute pleasure working alongside and under him. His unmatched passion and enthusiasm are on full display every time he hits the ice. Combine that with his vast knowledge and eagerness to improve, and you are sure to maximize your potential when training with him. It is always a pleasure to be at the rink with Pierce, so do yourself a favour and book a session with him and see it for yourself.

My name is Jasper Tait and I play for the Summerland steam. I first met Pierce and started working with him this past summer, and enjoyed his in depth look at my game. He analyzed how I play and took an approach on what would be the best for my style. He is able to work with all types of goalies to achieve different goals no matter the circumstances. Not only was he a major help on the ice, but when I’m struggling with the mental side of goaltending he is able to be personal and help me through it. I would consider anyone who works with pierce a personal friend of his and recommend him to take your goaltending to the next level

- I have played for Nipawin Hawks of the SJHL for 1 year and now the Flin Flon Bombers in the SJHL for 2 years and made one run to the finals. Pierce is an excellent guy to have around as a coach and as a friend. He does an excellent job of building a relationship with his goaltender while coaching. It makes things a lot easier to learn as a goaltender when you trust the person that’s teaching you. Pierce does a really good job of letting the goaltender play to their strengths instead of trying to change their game to be the same as someone else. With me I play an athletic style of game and Pierce has helped me with the smaller details instead of trying to change major things. On and off the ice he is a professional, but he keeps things light and fun while not overwhelming guys with information. Pierce is an extremely supportive person and takes a lot of pride in the success of his goaltenders. I have loved my time with him and I look forward to working more together.

- My name is Tyson Adams I play u17 OKR and am 15 years old. I have been working with pierce for over a year now and time with him off and on the ice is very valuable to improving my game. Every time some part of my game is off I’ll have a talk with him about it and pierce would help me by explaining what he notices the problem is and give me advice on how to fix the problem. Pierce has helped me achieve my goals as a goalie and would recommend him to younger goalies trying to improve.10/10 coach

Pierce puts in lots of effort and thought when planning out the practices, creating specific drills to you and what you need to progress. Pierce gets many high level shooters to attend so that you get the most out of every drill and push yourself. Whatever you need whether it being drills, stretches, workouts, etc. Pierce will always be there to help!
